Kudus Seals the Deal
Ghana has just made it to the 2026 World Cup, becoming the 5th African team to qualify. In the second half, Mohammed Kudus managed to score the goal against Comoros.
The match in Accra wasn’t easy. Ghana looked flat in the first half. They had chances but couldn’t test the Comoros keeper. Still, they scored 22 goals in their prior nine qualifiers. So, fans expected more.
Then, boom. Right after halftime, Kudus tapped in Thomas Partey’s cross. Close range, easy finish. His second goal in qualifiers. Comoros had shocked Ghana before. They beat them 1-0 early in the group. And knocked them out of the 2022 Nations Cup.
Ghana missed out Africa Cup. Comoros will have match against host country Morocco on December 21.
Qualifying starts the celebration. But the real work begins now. Train hard, play smart, you’re capable of it. The World Cup awaits.
Ghana’s back, baby.
